David Beckham made an appearance at Marina Bay Sands yesterday when he conducted a football clinic with athletes from SportsCares Singapore, Special Olympics, the Singapore Association for the Deaf and Bedok Youth Society for the Disabled.

Reminiscing the early days where BYSD (formerly known as BYS) was a household name to its villagers and when majority of its activities were held in the heartland of Kampung Bedok, its EXCO themed this year Hari Raya celebration - Raya Nostalgia Kampung Bedok 2016!

Ee Peng Liang Memorial Fund

Attended an eye-opening seminar on Social Services shared by leaders from the region.
"Ee Peng Liang Memorial Fund Regional Social Service Leaders Exchange Programme" was set up to contribute to the skills and professional development of promising social workers in the region.
It is also to commemorate the "Father of Charity" - the late Ee Peng Liang, who received numerous accolades for his humanitarian works.

BYSD participated in the Orange Ribbon Run/Walk 2014

More than 5,000 people gathered at Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza for the Orange Ribbon Run last Saturday. This included 2,000 youths taking the lead to make a stand against racism, continuing the strong support since last year’s launch of the Orange Ribbon Run!

2ND BOWLINKS @ SBA

18.05.2016 Our T.A.B (This Abled Bowlers) regular participation in the SBA (Singapore Bowling Association) held event - BOWLINKS. An avenue where the disabled community able to socialize with those from other organizations in a non-competitive fun-filled bowling meet.

20.03.2016 : Friendly visit by the Bikers Union Singapore

BYSD-IKU section was honored to have the Bikers Union Singapore visit.
It was an interesting experience to host these bikers group, meet & greet session and witnessed the flag-off for the Bikers' amal journey organized by Darul Aman mosque.
