SANTAI-SANTAI BERSAMA BYSD

On the 3rd day of Chinese New Year, BYSD IKU members were invited to attend an event at The Village @ Jurong Hill, 241 Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim with Bikers group organised by AmatGarfield, to have some fun and a sing-A-long karaoke session. Our members were well entertained, dancing and singing with the volunteers from the Bikers group.
We would like to thank the organiser for organising such a fun-filled event for our members.
For the first time Bedok Youth Society For The Disabled is raising awareness to anyone who wants to help us supplement our depleted funds.
How this CoVid-19 situation has affected the operations of the Society?
Our day-to-day operations are dependant on the valuable donations from kind souls and generous donors.
The pandemic and the financial effects which it had caused globally had impacted us in the amount of donations received as compared to what we used to be able to collect previously and had forced us to stop operating. This caused a decreased in our support to our disabled members.
Why BYSD need the funds?
- To cover our usual overhead costs.
- To provide welfare support to our disabled Members.
- To ensure that we're able to continue with our activities in integrating our Members with society.
CYCLING WITHOUT AGE
12/11/2020
6 of our members were given a trial to ride on a trishaw organised by Cycling Without Age Singapore. Our members were so thrilled as this brings them back to the old times where trishaws were one of the modes of transport in Singapore.
